How We Calculate Our Insights
You can click here to read the full list of our data metrics along with complete definitions of each. For now, here are the highlights:
Open Rate is the percentage of all of the contacts that opened the email. Within a contact's data, it's the percentage of all emails sent to them that they've opened.
Click Rate is the number of links clicked divided by the amount of opened emails.
Forwards (also called Forwarded Opens) are indicated when a recipient records more than one open on a single email, and the location of the subsequent open is verified to be different from the original open.
Additional Opens are the number of extra times a contact has opened a single email (not including forwarded or reply opens).
Read Times establishes how long a contact spent reading your email, categorized as either Read (open for sixteen seconds or more), Preview (less than sixteen seconds) or simply Opened (read time couldn't be verified).
