Sometimes your emails can look unusual when your contacts receive them. A great way to prevent this is just by changing a setting in your Outlook.
Here are a few quick steps to make sure your Outlook is sending with Unicode (UTF-8).
- Click on File > Options
- Navigate to the Advanced heading on the left, then scroll to International Options near the bottom.
- Check the box for Automatically select encoding for outgoing messages and choose Unicode (UTF-8) from the drop-down menu.
- Check the box for Automatically select encoding for outgoing vCards and choose Unicode (UTF-8) from the drop-down menu.
- Check the box for Allow UTF-8 support for the mailto: protocol.
- Click OK.
