What does "Archive Contact" mean?
The Archive Contact button is located at the bottom of the sidebar that opens when you click into a contact in your All Contacts list, then click the Edit Contact Details tab on the bar.
Clicking the Archive Contact button will delete the indicated contact and all of its corresponding readership data from your account (the complete steps for deleting a contact can be viewed here). If you need to restore an archived contact, please contact our Help Desk.
When is a forwarded email indicated as a "Forward"?
A forward is not tracked by Street Contxt when a recipient clicks “Forward” on their mail clients.
We indicate a forward has taken place when we have verified both of the following points:
- an open is recorded.
- the IP address the open is generated from is owned by a company that we've identified as not related to the original recipient’s company

Can an email be recalled?
No, once an email is sent, it cannot be retracted.
When I send an email to my distribution list(s), will the recipients know they are on a Street Contxt distribution list? Will they see the "streetcontxt.net" address in the copy they receive?
When composing email for your distribution lists, be wary of which destination field (To/Cc/Bcc) you enter the list's email address before sending.
If you enter the list's address (ex: "...@yourcompany.streetcontxt.net") in the "To:" field of your email, your subscribers on the list will only see their own address in the "To:" field in the copy they receive, and will have no indication that they are part of a Street Contxt distribution list.
If you enter the list's address in the "Cc:" field of your email and send, the subscribers WILL see the "@yourcompany.streetcontxt.net" address in that field. You will likely want to avoid entering the address there. If you enter the list's address in the "Bcc:" field before sending, the subscribers will not see any addresses in the To/Cc/Bcc fields, as would normally be the case.
If you enter multiple distribution list addresses in these fields, the results will be the same as described above.
I know a recipient opened my email. Why doesn't it show as an Open?
There are rare occasions when Street Contxt is not able to tell when a recipient has opened an email, due to security software or settings in their Outlook/Gmail. While 100% accuracy will never be attainable with email, we're constantly improving our analytics to make them as precise as possible.
Why am I getting back multiple copies of the email I sent?
For each list you have the "Send Me A Copy" attribute enabled, we'll send you a copy of your note. You can turn on/off this setting for each of your lists on your Manage Distributions page by following the instructions detailed here.
What happens when I have the same person on multiple lists and I send to all lists at once?
Don't worry - we never send multiple copies of the same email to recipients, even if they are on multiple lists. Our systems are smart enough to filter out the duplicates and only send a single email.
Why does the address for my distribution list contain some invalid characters ("%") when I copy and paste it into the To: field of my email?
This sometimes happens with older versions of mail clients (ie: Outlook). On your Manage Distributions page, click into the distribution list you wish to send to. You'll see the email address for that distribution near the top of the page. To the right of that address is a "Copy" icon. If you click on that icon to copy the address, it will paste correctly into your email.
