Any user (including non-sending users) can add contacts to their Watchlist - a live feed driven by prospects and contacts that are important or relevant to you, presenting events from across your team and firm.
The Watchlist provides an easy way to keep an eye on your largest, newest or most important contacts. It serves as a great cheatsheet to use when prioritizing which of your contacts to follow-up with.
You can also share insights with other users at your firm, allowing for seamless collaboration.
Adding Contacts
You can add contacts to your Watchlist under the Watchlist tab, or from your Manage Lists tab, where the Watchlist is displayed as a pinned list. From there, you can add and remove contacts from it as you would with any other list.
Actions displayed in the feed include:
- being added to or removed from a list.
- any readership data generated (opens, clicks, and forwards).
- read time events
You can use the Event Filter at the top of the page to isolate contacts that have engaged in a specific way (i.e. additional open, clicked a link, etc…).
When viewing one of your lists under Manage Lists (top header), you can isolate the contacts on that list that are also on your Watchlist by clicking the Watchlist filter button.
Authors
After adding contacts to your Watchlist, you can request to follow your colleagues that send to them by clicking the Authors button.
In the pop-up window that appears, you can:
- Follow other content senders ("Authors") at your firm.
- Identify new Authors you haven't previously followed, or who are sending to contacts on your Watchlist for the first time.
- View and edit the list of Authors you currently follow.
- View any pending requests you have to follow Authors.
NOTE: you are only able to follow an Author if they have sent content to any contacts on your Watchlist within the previous 30 days.
Sharing Insights
Your colleagues can also request to follow yourself as an Author. The ability to share insights better enables team-based selling and service.
You have full control over who can follow your emails and insights. Notifications for new follower requests will be sent to you via email, and also appear as a button at the top of the page for you to click into and approve.
Once approved, those followers will see only the data for the contacts added to your Watchlist.
Notifications
A blue notification badge will appear on the Watchlist tab to let you know when there are new events. While on the feed itself (without having to refresh the page), contacts that have new events will be automatically re-ordered to the top of the feed.
You'll also receive a daily summary of Watchlist activity via email.
